Nintendo 3DS & Sims 3 3DS Version May Hit European Markets in January

Latest guess work in the gaming world points out that Nintendo is all set to roll out its 3DS 3D handheld gaming console very soon. The Europe wing of the company has scheduled a press conference on January 19, next year, and this event is expected to witness the unveiling of Nintendo 3DS.

The new handheld console from Nintendo can enhance the gaming experience very much. Well, if you are addicted to the Sims 3 on your PC or other game console, you have got a good chance here.

The Sims 3 is coming in a 3DS version early next year. Playing it on this rig from Nintendo will be a very much different experience.

Rumors say that the new Nintendo 3DS version can help you create a Sim which looks exactly like you, adding more real identity to The Sims 3 game. You can do so with the help of the camera integrated into the 3DS console.

The console, which many eagerly wait for, is already set to be released in Japan where it comes a little after the scheduled European press meet in January. Sources point out that 3DS will be released in Japan on February 26, 2011.

While it is the case with Japan, the company has already confirmed that the device will have separate launching events for North American and European markets. However by March next year, Nintendo 3DS handheld device is expected to be available in all these major markets.
