Are you someone who is fond of the Android operating system, but likes to get your hands on one of the Windows Phone 7 devices? Then this new info will be great news for you. The Dell Venue, which is the Android version of the popular Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 handset, will be launched in Korea this month.

The Dell Venue, which runs the Android 2.2 Froyo OS, has been just announced by the Korean carrier KT. The device comes equipped with a 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a curved Gorilla Glass toughened display.

But you won’t be getting the slide-out QWERTY keyboard that is seen on the Dell Venue Pro. Instead, you will have to rely on the touchscreen for text input.

Back in late October, an FCC filing of the Dell Venue was spotted, which showed GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA support. Unfortunately, the full specifications of the device are not yet available.

The Dell Venue will have a price tag at around 700,000 won ($608). But there has been no confirmation on a North American or European release.

We are guessing that Dell will make an official announcement on that mater sometime in the very near future.

But if you are still planning to get the Dell Venue Pro, don’t forget to check out our full review of the device.
