Google Nexus S at Best Buy & Best Buy Mobile Stores on Dec 16; Sales Start at 8 a.m. EST

The moment you wake up on Thursday, rush for the Best Buy store near you. If you haven’t heard about this as yet, let us tell you, all Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile specialty stores will have the Google Nexus S on their racks for sale. The device will also be there online at BestBuy.com for you to pick.

The Google-Samsung device running Android 2.3 Gingerbread will be available on a first-come first-serve basis with a limit of 2 units per customer.

The online store will begin sales at 8 a.m. EST and that will be around the same time as the opening of Best Buy stores on the East Coast.

Best Buy has already made it known that all stores have adjusted their holiday hours to open at 8 a.m.

So you have a deal coming up in two days. With regard too pricing, it would be like this. The unlocked phone will be available for purchase without contract for $529, while it can be picked for $199 with a T-Mobile two-year service agreement and qualifying voice and data plan.

Best Buy says that the Nexus S can also be bought for a price of $249.99 if you choose it with an add-a-line activation plan.

Best Buy is also making available demo units to enable potential buyers test and play with the phone before they pay for their model.

Accessories will also be on the racks for you to buy along with the smart phone on December 16.

The stores will also deploy a Best Buy Mobile Phone Specialist who will help you set up personal mail accounts, Bluetooth headsets and other stuff you want to do with the phone.
