10-inch Motorola Slate with Honeycomb OS on the inside to come out on Verizon in 2011

Verizon sure has plenty of things lined up for 2011 and while you could probably say the same at the start of each year, there might be some particularly big ones that might be coming our way from Verizon Wireless. Of course, all eyes next year will be on the much-anticipated and long awaited Verizon iPhone, but the news coming though now is also pretty interesting.

The Motorola 10-inch slate that we heard about earlier is apparently headed to Verizon and it now is coming with Honeycomb OS on the inside and will hit the stores somewhere in mid-2011. So what does this slate from Motorola have in store for us?

From the details that have trickled out so far we can say for sure that it is powered by a 1GHz Tegra 2 T20 along side with a gyroscope function and has 32GB of built-in memory along with a memory card slot that will allow you to add another 32GB. The 512MB RAM along with an attractive 1280 x 800 multi-touch touchscreen display make it a very decent buy.

Now with Honeycomb OS and Verizon network to support it, the 10-inch Motorola slate looks like a pretty sound buy when it does come out. Of course, it will be the price tag that will make or break the deal…
