LG has added one more product to its LCD monitor line-up with the launching of E2290V. It is not only one of the slimmest displays from LG, but also one of the fastest among the displays available in the market.

With just 7.2 mm thickness, E2290V comes ultra-thin, but deliver high-quality visual experience to the viewers. This 21.5 inch monitor is suitable for a varied range of situations like gaming, watching movies, etc. LG boasts mere 2-milliseconds as its response rate, which makes it so favourite for high-graphics gaming or for sports watching folks.

To make it more usable with different devices, it comes with analog, digital and HDMI input ports. The Image Booster Software used by LG makes E2290V stand out very much when it comes to streaming videos, be it from Netflix or YouTube. The 1920×1080 resolution gives extra-quality to the visuals displayed.

LED backlit technology has helped LG to reduce the power consumption of this monitor. When compared to the traditional CCFL-backlit LCD monitors which were in use, E2290V consumes 40 percent less energy. That is always a better thing to work for, right? With a very high dynamic Contrast Ratio of 10,000,000:1, it produces 250 nits of brightness.

Though, it is real class in its features, no word about when it will hit the European markets. However, it will be available in the Southeast Asian markets this month itself with a price tag equivalent of $435.
