Angry Birds all set to make debut on Sony PS3, Xbox 360 & Wii Early Next Year: Rovio confirms feather flinging for consoles!

One of the most successful games in the mobile platform is now about to crossover onto the gaming console world and with it Rovio intends to make many more millions on the back of the ‘uber-rich angry birds’. Rovio has already enjoyed unprecedented success on the iOS, Android platforms with Angry Birds. Now Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 are going to enjoy the feather flinging mayhem as well as the slimy pigs are going to get their backsides handed over to them on larger screens with more people joining in.

So when is this going to happen? Rovio says that the Angry Birds will take over the gaming consoles somewhere at the start of next year. Though it would be unrealistic to expect same amount of success on the console platform with more elaborate and detailed titles on offer, it could still be a hit none the less. The announcement of changing platforms comes along with the Angry Birds Christmas edition announcement along with Angry Birds 2, which will come also very soon after that.

The next version of angry Birds will supposedly see more dynamic action from the pigs as well. So get ready to face some firing as well. It seems finally the pigs have understood that ‘attack is the best form of defense’!
