The US market has finally got the real Palm Pre 2 feel with HP beginning to sell this cute phone with its updated webOS.  Available today onwards at its online store, the much awaited Palm Pre 2 is expected to make an interesting performance in its beginning phase in the market.

Apart from the much touted webOS 2.0 from HP, the Palm Pre 2 boasts many hardware upgrades which altogether make it a smartphone anybody would love. Running at 1GHz speed, its processor is twice faster than its predecessor – the original Palm Pre.

HP is now selling the GSM unlocked version of this device for $449.99 on its website. Do you think that the price is too much? But HP thinks its 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen and slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, and other features makes it worth that money without any network contracts.

If you are interested and orders the brand new Palm Pre 2 right now, the company will take only about 24 hours to ship it you. However, the above price is not inclusive of shipping expenses and local taxes. So it may go up a little.

The Pre 2 is already available in the UK from November 15th onwards. In the UK, it is available exclusively at Palm UK stores. It sells a SIM-free version of the Palm Pre2 for £399.
