US Cellular has added one more Android device to its network with the recent launch of LG Apex. The phone will be available at US Cellular stores and their online store for purchase from tomorrow onwards.

With a vibrant 3.2 inch touch screen, this sleek trendy Android 2.1 Éclair device features a slide out full QWERTY keyboard. LG Apex is capable of multi tasking so that you need not give a break to your uninterrupted texting habits just because your phone is playing a favorite track. Both go together with Apex.

Other interesting features include its touchscreen with luminous sensors which help the device to adjust the brightness according to the light conditions. To add more power for personalization, it offers five customizable home screens. With access to the Android market, users can download much needed apps.

Moreover, it comes with a 3 mega pixel auto focus camera with a unique panoramic mode. Coming to connectivity, this Wi-Fi enabled device is capable of connecting to networks on the move.

The in-built media player supports MP3 and other popular audio formats, while the video player extends support to WMV, MP4, 3GP and 3G2 formats.

US Cellular plans to sell Apex initially at $ 79.99 after a mail-in-rebate of $80. They start taking orders for LG Apex from November 19 onwards.  Well, this is not a high-end device, but it is interesting since it’s just a trailer of what US Cellular is going to roll out soon to their stores.
