Barnes and Noble Nook Color eBook Reader Now Available for $249

The holiday gadgetry shopping list will be including an eBook reader for the ‘most ardent’ thingamajig fanatics and that particular bunch of people will be over-the-moon to know that the high profile Nook Color eBook reader from Barnes and Noble is now up for the grabs. Even we at DMag were excited to welcome this eBook reading option ever since FCC first let out its details in the first week of this month.

Nook Color eBook reader is directly available from Barnes and Noble and it bears a price sticker of $249 which is justified enough given its impressive capabilities, though a lot many gadget freaks will not feel likewise. Majority of gadget lovers feel that an eBook reader is now worth an integration on some doodad and there is no reason why it should be purchased as an individual offering.

The Google Android OS running Nook can make them think otherwise as it comes with a hugely impressive 7 inch full color touchscreen ips display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, which can pretty much change the definition of an eBook reader.

Talk about storage and the Nook excels there as well with an ability to save a whopping 6,000 books while a microSD card can be used to beef up the storage capacity furthermore.
