LG Quantum Available via AT&T for $199 on Contract, LG’s First WP7 Phone Looks Impressive

LG isn’t known to manufacture the best of smartphones, but the brand is looking to earn a repute by developing Windows Phone 7 running handsets which do look impressive. It’s very first WP7 device dubbed the LG Quantum has been officially made available by the pro-Apple carrier AT&T. Until now the handset was only listed on AmazonWireless for a mind-boggling pricing of 1¢, but that offer ends today.

LG Quantum is now available immediately online and in AT&T stores across the nation bearing a price sticker of $199.99, which applies if you agree to sign up for a contract term of two years.

Just to throw some light on the prime features of the LG Quantum, it comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen and a slide out QWERTY Keypad. To add to this, there is a 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera and 16GB of internal memory.

Additionally, the users will also get 10 free apps from the LG section in Microsoft’s Windows Marketplace, which is quite an attraction for the app crazy modern gadget freaks.
