Samsung Galaxy Tab on AT&T Gets Confirmed for November 21st, Priced at $649

AT&T is gearing for the holiday season, and one way to do that is by introducing the recently released Samsung Galaxy Tab to their customers.

According to unconfirmed reports, AT&T is supposed to release the Tab on November 21st with a $649 price tag for the SIM-free model. Unlike other mobile operators who got it out earlier at $549, that’s $50 more for the same SIM-free version. Needless to say it makes absolutely no sense. Right? At least you’ll appreciate the fact that it will come with a pre-installed Nook eReader and the AT&T account manager software for on-device activation and monthly credit refills.

If the leaked screenshot turns out to be real, data plans for the Galaxy Tab on AT&T will be priced at $14.99 a month for 250MB of data or $25 a month for 2GB of data — same plans the iPad gets.

So what’s it going to be. Are you going to choose the Galaxy Tab at $649, or you’ll go for the 16GB WiFi+3G iPad that will set you back only $629?

It’s going to be an interesting Christmas, for sure.
