Samsung 7-inch Super AMOLED Display Fitted into the Galaxy Tab; Roll Out Tipped for 2011

November 10, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Samsung, as we all know, had been gearing up for the release of a 7-inch Super AMOLED display. We had been in fact waiting for the roll out ever since the company had told us about this at FPD 2010.  The release is finally happening, and going by the first picture we have managed to lay our hands on, this new roll out is going to be incredible.

We are not kidding when we say the new Samsung 7-inch Super AMOLED display is as fascinating as it can get. The new hardware, which has been in fact, built right into a Galaxy Tab, provides the device with some amazing display features.

The Super-AMOLED which was on show at FPD had given us a hint of the WXVGA (1200×600 Pixel) resolution mobile display. The superior screen technology was tipped to come with an eye-friendly 1200 x 600 resolution. The latest news from the Samsung stables is that the display actually runs at the same WSVGA 1024 x 600 as the existing LCD TFT screen in the first-gen Galaxy Tab.

Now that the picture of the hardware is out, we expect the release to happen in 2011.  Take a look at the lone picture that is out on the web and tell us if you like it.
