GameStop Brings Sony PSN Content to Stores; Online Soon

It’s indeed good news for the game lovers, that GameStop has decided to start providing select downloadable content (DLC) for the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system. These PSN contents are available in-store and will be available online in the very near future.

The new initiative is a joint venture between Sony Computer Entertainment America and GameStop to attract more gamers to GameStop outlets. The content is available for download using a PSN account on PlayStation systems.

The offer includes downloading content like full PSN games and add-ons. You can get the PlayStation Plus subscriptions also.

The duo is aiming at launching the offer at the GameStop website also for those who want to access it online.  For adding a more convenient option to gamers, they will be launching the same in more than 4,400 GameStop retail stores all over the country.

PSN, the online multiplayer gaming and digital media delivery network offered by Sony, is presently a massive web of game lovers with more than 60 million registered users and more than 1.25 billion pieces of content being downloaded. The new offer is sure to catch more big fishes in the game.

The new downloadable content claims to be an attempt to enhance and expand the overall entertainment experience. The DLC content are expected to come under a price range of $10 to $15.
