The Samsung Galaxy S lineage has been very popular owing to devices like the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Tablet and the next arrival from the Galaxy brethren is the Samsung Continuum. We surely kept track of the Continuum as far as its arrival is confirmed and since you almost know everything about the dual-display smartphone, all that is left to discuss is its release date and pricing.

The smartphone that broke cover at a pretty subdued event yesterday will be available for pre-order beginning November 11. Big Red stores across the country will begin selling the Samsung Continuum November 18 onwards, which implies a week after the pre-orders go public.

As far as the pricing is concerned, Samsung Continuum will cost $199 on contract after receiving a $100 mail-in-rebate. The contract term to make the Continuum yours at this discounted price in 24 months for the data package.

For the moment the Samsung Continuum is an exclusive Verizon smartphone, and Samsung isn’t releasing this Galaxy S variant globally either, which means Big Red is the only carrier in the world to market this device apparently. Verizon buffs will surely enjoy this whiff of exclusivity even though it might be short-lived.
