Dell Inspiron Duo Tablet Netbook Teased on Video

November 5, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Dell has released a teaser video of its upcoming tablet-netbook, the Dell Inspiron Duo. The video doesn’t actually reveal a lot about the new device, but it will give you a brief look at the device which is coming your way most likely in the very near future.

As you already know, the Dell Inspiron Duo debuted at the IFA 2010 a few months back. The device has a 10.1 inch touchscreen and is an Atom-based netbook.

But this is not the most interesting thing about this new device. The Inspiron Duo has the same form-factor as any standard netbook, but the display can be rotated in a pretty unique way, and once rotated you have a pretty slender tablet to play with.

From the video, you can see the device working in the tablet mode and then it is flipped open to become a netbook. You will also get to see the netbook slotting into its JBL speaker-dock.

At the end of the video, it is being said that the device is “coming soon”. So we are expecting an announcement from the company sometime soon. So stay tuned. We will let you know as soon as we get more info about the new product.

In the mean time, take a look at the video and place your comments in the box at the end of this page. What do think about the new design?
