As a part of its move to go green by switching to exclusive LED display manufacturing, ViewSonic has announced the launch of its VG36-LED series monitors. The series features two monitors, the VG2436wm-LED with 24” display size and the VG2236wm-LED with 22” display size.

Going green with the LED technology has not made ViewSonic to compromise the quality of their product. With Full HD resolution at 1920×1080, they tout about an amazing DCR of 20,000,000:1.

These monitors are 100 percent mercury free and are stuffed with built-in stereo speakers for the ultimate ViewSonic experience. The monitors in the series feature both DVI and VGA connectivity options.

Switching to LED technology has helped ViewSonic to design truly energy saving gadgets. The company claims these monitors can make energy savings up to 50%. The Energy Star and EPEAT Gold certifications on these products confirm the company’s claim.

To make it more convenient to users, the ViewSonic VG36-LED series monitors have a 90-degree pivot. Their height can be adjusted up to 5.4” to suit individual users’ eye-level height. They can be turned 360-degree and tilted accordingly to suit users needs. The VESA compliant monitor stand lets the users mount it on the wall.

To put a bet on the performance and quality, the company promises a three year limited warranty. The 22” VG2236wm is available for $229 and the 24” VG2236wm-LED is priced at $259.
