I cannot help but thinking that November is going to be the coolest month for gadget freaks be it from whatever part of the world they hail. For the Canadians, the November treat will be a Telus courtesy, as the carrier is looking to unleash two new Windows Phone 7 powered handsets dubbed the HTC 7 Surround and LG Optimus 7.

Both these devices are high-end WP7 smartphones so the Microsoft OS admirers are going to have a great time, come November 8. Interestingly, the US Carriers T-Mobile and AT&T are also unleashing their WP7 devices on the same date.

As far as the Telus WP7 handsets are concerned, both the devices will be available for a price of $99.99 on contract, which in Canada implies 3 years. Both devices do look different externally, but they share a lot of features in common including- a 3.8 inch WVGA touchscreen display, a snappy 1GHz Snapdragon processor, while there is also a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash and 720p video recording. The storage capacity is also similar at 16GB, while HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack are common features as well.
