HP has made a significant move by adding two new starter models to their notebook line up. The unveiled models, the HP G62m and the HP Pavilion dv7t, are now available for orders.

The first of the models, the G62m will be available for the customers at a price of $530 after discounts. The device runs on the Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

It also features an LCD 15.6-inch 1366×768 display, 2.2GHz Intel Celeron 900 single-core processor, Intel GMA 4500M integrated graphics, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 320GB hard drive.

The Pavilion dv7t is brought in a refreshed format with a 17.3 inch 1600×900 display, an Intel Core i3-380M processor and integrated graphics, 4GB of memory, a 500GB 7200RPM hard drive, a DVD drive, and it runs on the Windows 7 Home Premium.

To keep the base prices low, the company is still using the Intel video in the device, and the price of the device after the discounts is set at $775

For some extra cash, the users are given the choice of updating both the notebooks with faster processors and larger hard-drives.
