We have good news for those of you who are waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Tab to hit the US streets. Amazon has started taking pre-orders for this much anticipated 7 inch Android tablet. Amazon, which is accepting pre-orders for the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, is asking $699.99 for the piece with free shipping. It also has highlighted that the device will be released on November 9.

Just to remind you about the specs of this new device, the Galaxy Tab comes with Android 2.2 and gives 3G abilities to the customer on T-Mobile network. It has two cameras- a 3 MP cam on the rear with which you can capture photos and videos and a 1.3 MP cam on the front for video chat.

Additional features include Bluetooth 3.0, microSD memory expansion and a media player which supports a range of media formats. The 4000 mAh battery provides up to 7 hours of power-life for the tab, at full performance.

The price on Amazon gives a cut of $50 from the listed price of $749.99. But if you get the Galaxy tab from T-Mobile, the price is just $399, but with a two year contract.

On T-Mobile, the device will be released only on November 10. If you are keen on grabbing the new Galaxy Tab as early as possible and don’t care paying some more bucks, go and get it from Amazon so you will get it a day earlier.
