HTC Wildfire & HTC Desire Now Available from Alltel Wireless

Yesterday, we had reported about an official announcement from HTC that the HTC Wildfire would be available from the regional providers in North America in Q4 this year. Now the budget-friendly Android device is available from Alltel Wireless for $29.99 with a 2 year service contract and mail-in rebate.

The HTC Wildfire, that runs Android 2.1 operating system, sports a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen. It comes with a 528MHz Qualcomm processor and 384MB of RAM.

The device also comes equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and the HTC Sense User Interface. There is also 3G and WiFi connectivity, and social network integration.

In addition to the Wildfire, the carrier is also offering the HTC Desire, which sports a 3.7-inch WVGA touch screen and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The device also features a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.

The Desire is available now for $149.99 with a two-year contract and after a mail-in rebate.
