Yahoo Email New Revamped look integrates Facebook & Twitter functionality: An attempt to woo users back from Google!

October 28, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

Yahoo have just revamped and given a brand new look to their email services and are offering a brand new experience to even those who use their free email services (Which is obviously what we are more concerned about). The new look Beta version of the revamped Yahoo! Mail allows you to integrate your mail with Twitter and Facebook. Now every time there is an update on a Twitter account that you are following, you can get an email notification immediately in your Yahoo inbox.

Don’t worry though as this is in no way mandatory for those who wish to use Yahoo Mail and Twitter as well. If you do not want an email update, you will not get one. Also will be the greater integrating of Facebook account. There is also improved spam protection and Yahoo is providing what seems to be a better and faster way to search and find emails in your inbox. (That should come in handy often!)

The news from the release also is that the Beta version currently on offer can be used without any changes required specifically for different operating systems out there. Whether you want it on Android, iOS, or Windows PC, there will be no problem trying it out. Obviously many are going to use the latest version and it will not be long before we will find out what works and what lets us down with the latest Yahoo! Mail.
