Samsung Galaxy Tab Available at T-Mobile Store from November 10 for $400 as iPad sales start today: Now even U.S. Cellular to sell the Galaxy Tab!

October 28, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

T-Mobile will be the first to bring the Samsung Galaxy Tab to the stores in the US as the carrier will start sales on November 10. What would have been interesting is if the Galaxy Tab was launched today; the day iPad has started sales in the US. But you will have to wait for what now will seem like an age, before the Samsung Galaxy Tab is out to challenge the iPad. T-Mobile is bringing the Galaxy Tab out first for a price tag of $399.99.

That will come with the 2-year contract attached and you will have to shell out an additional $35 as activation charges and in case you wish to terminate your contract before the 2 year term, you will have to cough up $200 at the T-Mobile desk. Say what you will, we already are starting to dislike the tone of the contract from T-Mobile. (What’s with the activation fee, really?)

The T-Mobile release of the Galaxy tab will be 24 hours ahead of the Verizon launch and good 4 days before the Tab comes out on Sprint. But in other major news, now even U. S. Cellular will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab. That seems really cool and obviously Samsung wants to reach as many people as possible and hence is now pulling out all stops.

There is no pricing or release date available for the Galaxy Tab on U.S. Cellular yet, but we should find the details out very soon. So waiting for the Galaxy Tab? Which carrier will you pick? Verizon, maybe!
