HTC Wildfire US Release set for this holiday season: Android mobile set to make the trip across the Atlantic

October 28, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

If you happen to like the HTC Wildfire and are disappointed that you do not have it yet unlike those in Europe or even Asia, then HTC has some good news for you. The mid-range HTC handset that is aimed specifically at teens is now going to be available in US as well. While HTC has declined on giving the exact date right now, they have confirmed that the mobile will indeed be out in US market come this holiday season.

For those still not familiar with the HTC Wildfire, the mobile sports a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen and comes with 528MHz Qualcomm processor along with 384MB RAM on the inside. There is also a 5 megapixel camera to satisfy your shutter needs and the HTC Sense User Interface should make the handling of the mobile a pleasant experience.

There is also 3G and WiFi connectivity along with the Android 2.1 OS from Google. (You might even get an update to Android 2.2 shortly after release). Adding all that up, the HTC Wildfire indeed makes a fine choice as a mid-range mobile. HTC has not yet disclosed its US price or even the carriers it will be out on. Stay tuned for the details as they come in…
