Sprint HTC Pro 7 Release Date Getting Closer as CDMA Windows Phone 7 Device Gets FCC Approval

October 27, 2010, By Alex Ion

It was only a matter of time until a Windows Phone 7 handset went through the FCC hassles for manufacturing approval, and while there’s not much regarding the company who’ll actually build it, we can easily speculate that it’s the HTC Pro 7 that will be released on Sprint sometime next year.

Microsoft officials have announced that in 2010 no CDMA handset will run Windows Phone 7, but with this device getting the FCC seal, we can’t help wonder why aren’t they ready for a debut this holiday season if it’s ready both hardware and software wise.

From what you can see above, if this is Sprint’s HTC Pro 7 then, among its specs, it will feature WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR connectivity.

Will HTC actually prove that Windows Phone 7 is a true success and launch the Pro 7 on Sprint in 2010? What do you think? Is it possible to see a CDMA Windows Phone 7 in the market before the year’s end?
