Just if you didn’t know, Acer is the world’s second largest tablet PC maker by shipments after Hewlett-Packard Co. This means that Acer can afford to persist with its own creations in the market and tablet PC is one of those. The first lineage of Acer PC Tablets will be launched in the New York City on November 23rd and Acer is confident that these devices will find a market as a second lineage will be launched in the future as well.

It is a little complicating to explain what exactly a tablet PC is, but you cannot certainly compare it with an iPad or a Galaxy Tablet-both of which are pure tablets. We do not have a problem with the existence of this tablet PC form factor for this just gives us a chance to talk about a different doodad.

Interestingly, Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci just mentioned the release date of the tablet PC line and nothing more, which confuses the matter furthermore. He did not even mention what OS will these gadgets feature. Was he talking about tablets or tablet PCs. Help us with some insight people!
