First Images of the Playstation Phone

Yes, this is the actual Playstation phone. I’m not gonna lie, I expected it to look like this in a way. The PSP GO design is perfect  for a cellphone and apparently Sony and Sony Erricson know this.

The Playstaion Phone(show above) that we’ve all been waiting for will be coming to us soon. It’s running on the Android 3.0 operating system also known as “Gingerbread.” This long awaited phone also comes with a Sony marketplace as well, letting consumers download games made specifically for this platform.

The phone has a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655, which isa chip similar to the one found in the G2, but 200MHz faster,, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and the screen is in going to be 3.7 to 4.1 inches big. We’re sure it’s still a prototype but it looks good so far. It  will go under a design change and look sleek and futuristic. Commercials for this should be cool too.

Now, is this the very first step to cellphone gaming that we all have been waiting for? iPhone games are fun, but they don’t compare to the Nintendo DS. We’ll have to see once it hits the market, but it’s definitely an exciting thing to see the Playstation Phone in existence.
