Call Of Duty Black Ops: Quickscoping is a cheap way to play and has been Banned for Black Ops, Says Treyarch

If you have already looked at the leaked gameplay video of Call of Duty: Black Ops and saw the sniper action in there, then you would have noticed Quickscoping. So, in case you expected it to make it to the final version, then a rude shock awaits you. According to Treyarch’s community manger Josh Olin, that video was taken from the closed beta of the game and that it will not make it to the final released version. Why is that? Well, Josh Olin made it known clearly that Treyarch considered Quickscoping a cheap way to play Black Ops!

Making his announcement on a Twitter Q&A Session, Josh said that Quickscoping was not an option in Black Ops. Many of the Quickscoping lovers who asked him if his statement was a joke were met with the following reply:

”Nope. Quickscoping is way more annoying to a way larger group of people than the quickscoping community who loves to do it. #cheap”.

That was his reaction after people tweeted back in response to his initial tweet. With that said it seems very clear that Treyarch does not consider Quickscoping as a skill at all. He also made it clear that players now need to wait a brief moment until the sniper sight is centered before they take a shot, while confirming that no sniper rifles in the game are useful for Quickscoping.

The debate is now on about whether Quickscoping is a skill or if you are just relying on system’s AIM ASSIST. PC gamers say otherwise. Still buying Black Ops?
