Samsung to reveal new Android device on November 8 at Samsung Event: Could it be the Continuum on Verizon or even the maybe Samsung Galaxy S2?

October 25, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

Samsung mobile has indeed sent out invites for an event on November 8 where it will announce an upcoming Android Device. So what exactly does Samsung have under the wraps? More importantly, how well does it have the device under wraps? Will we get to know what the Android ‘Device’ is even before November 8? Well, all that we know for now is that Samsung has invited all to the November 8 and has something ‘android’ planned. It is not certain that we are even talking about a mobile. So we are free to speculate (Yeah, get started in the comments!)

Well, right off the bat, most people already feel that this could be the official unveiling of the Samsung Continuum for Verizon. Yes, that double display mobile that should be uber-fun to use. But that is just speculation at this point. Some have even gone on to say that this could be the Samsung Galaxy S2 being shown to us.

We know that we offered what looks like a leaked snapshot of the Galaxy S2 today, but expecting Samsung to make it official now and then release it late in 2011 looks very, very unlikely. Also considering that the Galaxy S2 could indeed be out on Android 3.0 (Gingerbread), makes this possibility all the more far-fetched.

So will it be the Continuum with its secondary OLED Display or something else? Well, you might not have to wait till November 8 if another ‘good old’ leak hits our way sooner. Either way, you will find out in a couple of weeks for sure!
