Samsung Galaxy S2 could run on Android 3.0 and be out in 2011: Leaked Specs, Features and Pic Inside

October 25, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

This seems to be a very good day for Android users; at least if we were to believe all the news that is coming out of the rumor mill. First it was the LG Android Phone that could come out on Verizon Wireless. Now it is the turn of the super-revved up Samsung Galaxy S2 that could come out sometime next year. What is interesting is that we seem to have already stumbled upon the snapshot of what is being claimed as Samsung Galaxy S2. The Samsung Galaxy S2 will be just called Galaxy S2 and the picture of the mobile supposedly has come out of Russia.

But it is the rumored specs that seem to be far more interesting than the stylishly-crafted mobile that is on display. The Galaxy S2 will apparently run on Android 3.0 (yup, Gingerbread) and will have a 32GB built-in memory. Also on the inside will be a 2Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM combined with 4GB ROM. And that is not the end of the staggering details.

Also rumored is a full HD 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, a gyroscope and an accelerometer. So love the phone already? Well, nothing is official yet, so do not get your hopes too high on it. It could all be just another well-knit hoax, but we hope Samsung takes some inspiration from it and does indeed make a Galaxy S2 that will be close to this!
