Netflix Website Down and experiencing Login Problems: So how has it been for you?

October 22, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

If you are a Netflix user then you have every reason to be angry. There are people who will say that server outages happen with the best sites around, but then Yahoo, Facebook or services from Google that sometimes are down are all free. But Netflix is a video subscription service. You pay for it and hence you have every right to be aggrieved. That said, the guys at Netflix are apparently working pretty hard behind scenes to get everything fixed.

While Netflix shareholders celebrated Thursday, the video subscription service’s customers were left staring at a website screen that was down and out. The website page just brings you to an error page, or does not display at all. First the Netflix team posted a tweet that they were working on the outage and soon came back with the tweet which said that all was fine and the streaming would be up.

But that did nott last for long as customers once again complained about still being unable to access the Netflix content and hence the team got back to work again. Apparently some are able to access content while others are still facing trouble. All this when the stock of Netflix touched a new high!

So is your Netflix back up? Not yet? Let us know…
