MainGear Clutch-13 & Clutch-15 Notebooks Unveiled; Pricing Detailed

MainGear has introduced its new Clutch series notebooks,  Clutch -13 and Clutch-15. Equipped with powerful Intel Core i-series processors, these lighter devices give a mobile computing platform solution for the customers.

The Clutch-13 and Clutch-15 come with 13.3” and 15.6” displays respectively, and are shipped with an optional docking station which can meet the connectivity needs with a range of different ports. Equipped with VGA and DVI ports, the docking station can accommodate four more USB-connected devices with its USB 2.0 ports. It also has an audio out, RJ-45 and optional optical disc drives including Blu-ray.

While Clutch-13 is geared with an Intel Core i3 processor, Clutch 15 gives an additional choice of Intel Core i5 and i7 dual core processors. These bold looking machines comes with up to 8GB of DDR3 1066 memory. Both machines in the series offer Hard Drive options with mechanical SATA 2.5” up to 750 GB, or SSDs up to 512 GB. Clutch 13 has only Intel HD graphics, while Clutch – 15 gives an additional option of NVIDIA GeForce 330M 1 GB card with dedicated memory.

Both notebooks in the series integrate Intel’s Always Aware technology which give hard drive protection, system security and display control. Intel’s Anti-Theft technology integrated in these machines locks the systems after multiple failed login attempts or when reported lost or stolen. With their exclusive M. A. R. C laser etching for a beautiful exterior, MainGear gives an option for customers to submit their own art to be etched on the machine body, making it a real personal notebook.

The Clutch- 13 is now available for $ 1099 in its basic configuration including the docking station. Without the docking station, Clutch-15 is priced at starting costs of $899.
