Verizon Wireless to launch Palm Pre 2, DROID Pro, DROID 2 Global and CITRUS by November 11: Up against Windows Phone 7 line-up of AT&T & T-Mobile

If you are a Verizon Wireless user, one would surely be having bit of a tough time trying to keep up with all the updates. The problem is not so much with what the company announces officially, but what it manages to leak out through its internal training program (Yeah, we still suspect there are a few intentional leaks somewhere in there). So while we reported the possible launch of BlackBerry Storm 3 on Verizon in the coming months, here is a line-up of handsets that will be almost certainly out come November 11.

The Windows Phone 7-based handsets might be getting all the attention, but with the million-dollar hype that surrounds them, there is also plenty of attention that their competition is getting. The collection of Motorola DROID Pro, DROID 2 Global and CITRUS will all be out on Verizon by the second week of November. Add to that the much-talked about Palm Pre 2 and Verizon is giving its customers plenty to chose from come this holiday season.

For those BlackBerry Verizon users who are fuming at AT&T getting Torch exclusively and along with BlackBerry 6 OS, there is no official good news yet on Storm 3. But rest assured that it is no doubt coming to Verizon and soon… Could be official anytime now!
