First we took a look at the Mac Event today, as a whole, with a basic outline of the event that is aimed to give you a quick glance at the two MacBook Air models that just hit stores. Then we detailed the 11.6-inch MacBook Air for you. Now it’s time to sink into its big brother- the 13.3-inch MacBook Air. The 13.3-inch Air will cost you $1,299 for the very basic version and if you want added RAM or doubled Flash Storage, then the price goes up.

Here are the specs and features for the ‘just out’ 13.3-inch variants of the MacBook Air:

• 13.3-inch LED-backlit display with 1440 x 900 native resolution
• 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo Processor with optional 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
• NVIDIA GeForce 320m graphics card with 256MB of DDR3 RAM
• Dual display and video mirroring
• 2GB RAM is the default spec. But it can go up to 4GB RAM (For an extra $100)
• 64GB ($1,299) or 128GB($1,599) SSD storage space
• Full-sized keyboard, Multitouch Trackpad, FaceTime camera
• 802.11n Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 2 USB 2.0 ports, Mini DisplayPort
• Headphone mini-jack, Microphone, Stereo speakers
• 50-watt-hour lithium polymer battery: up to 7 hours of wireless productivity and up to 30 days of standby time

Yes, if you either wish to go for better options on the RAM or Flash Storage or even the Processor, then it will cost you $100 extra for each. That being said, the new 13.3-inch Air should be a welcome addition to the MacBook Air lineup as it presents a fine alternative to those who want a larger display.

So while we wait to see how the 13.3-inch Air does compared to the 11.6-inch version, you can get one right away from the Online Apple Store. So are you in on this ‘cool deal’?
