Call of Duty: Black Ops PC Version Minimum Requirements Detailed

Call of Duty: Black Ops release has still got quite a while to go though the game title has already managed to set the world on fire with its pre-orders exceeding the previous title Modern Warfare II. Most of the gamers (or probably all of them) who’ve placed the pre-orders belong to console gaming category, but a good number of fanatics will also love experiencing the Black Ops magic on their PCs.

These gamers surely need a heads-up as far as system requirements are concerned before they take the plunge and though Treyarch is yet to detail these requirements officially, a reliable retailer has done the PC gamers a favor.

We will begin with the CPU requirements first- the minimum requirement will be an Intel Core2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750, which honestly speaking is a bit high end for an average PC gamer. Other critical requirements are- an HDD space of 12GB and a minimum of 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT or ATI Radeon X1950Pro video card.

The only relief then for the ‘average gamer’ is that the PC version of Black Ops requires DirectX 9 and not 10. We are waiting for Treyarch to officially confirm these requirements as soon as it can.
