Steve Jobs: Apple TV Has Hit 250,000 Sales

Other than taking on Google and Android, and announcing amazing Q4 results, Steve Jobs also slipped out the fact that the newly launched Apple TV has hit 250,000 in sales. During Apple’s fiscal earnings call Q&A session, Steve Jobs said “I can report that we’ve sold a quarter million Apple TVs.”

While the number sounds great considering that it’s on the market for 18 days now, it doesn’t even compare to other Apple products — like the iPad for example, who sold 300,000 units in the first day.

For those who haven’t tried it yet, Apple TV is small enough to fit right into the palm of your hand, at just a quarter of a size of its predecessor. It uses the company’s new AirPlay feature and streams media from the user’s computers, the cloud, or from iPads and iPhones. On top of that it has HDMI, optical digital audio and Ethernet ports for easy connectivity.

250,000 Apple TVs sold, that really sounds like a great Job
