Nec have added to their MultiSync LCD monitor with the new NEC EX231W. A 23-inch panel meant for business, the new NEC MultiSync EX231W weighs nothing more than 9.3 pounds, features an ultraslim bezel (14.6mm) and delivers Full HD image quality at a native 1920 x 1080 screen resolution.

But that’s not all the gello you get if you plan on bringing one home. According to the specs sheet, the new NEC MultiSync EX231W LCD monitor delivers 250 nits of brightness, a pretty 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a is said to be highly eco-friendly as it comes with a Mother Earth-approved ECO mode that helps it consume only 16 watts.

On top of that, there are also DVI and DisplayPort options, along with an USB pass-through that sits on the top of the monitor for easy access when you want to plant your webcam or stick a flash drive inside. And did we mention the ambient light sensor, the carbon savings meter, the touch-sensitive on-screen controls, the four-way adjustable stand or the intelligent power manager?

NEC MultiSync EX231W will be available in stores starting next month and will cost some $339, which includes a three year limited warranty.

Not a bad deal for the coming holiday season, no?
