Motorola Flipout Android 2.1 Smartphone Now Available at AT&T (Video)

The Motorola Flipout Android-powered handset is now available from AT&T. AT&T is selling the Flipout, which is a smartphone with a swiveling keyboard, for $79.99 on two-year contract, or $349 outright.

You might already know the specs of the device. Just to refresh your memory, the device comes equipped with a five-row rotator QWERTY keypad and a 2.8-inch screen (320×240 pixels) with multi-touch support including pinch to zoom.

The device, which runs Google’s Android 2.1 operating system, comes with a 3 megapixel camera and 512MB of internal memory with support for up to 32GB microSD cards. The device also comes with seven customizable home screens.

The Flipout also features speedy 3G HSDPA support for data, MOTORBLUR services that sync messages, emails, social networking into one single stream of updates, an FM radio, GPS, Bluetooth, and the phone offers up to 4.5 hours of talk time.
