HTC Gratia Android Smartphone Announced: Specs, Features and Availability

October 18, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

HTC seems to be making waves both on the Android as well as the Windows Phone 7 OS platforms. Now is the turn of Android 2.2 once again and the handset in focus is the HTC Gratia. Announced today, the Gratia will be making its debut all across Europe in November and taking into account both the popularity of the Android OS-based mobiles and also the latest models that are being rolled out by HTC (like the Desire HD), Gratia is well worth a look.

The most impressive and obviously striking feature of HTC Gratia will be its exterior. The handset will come in White, Black and Dark Green cases. This obviously offers variety that few other smartphones currently present. Moving on from this interesting start, Gratia sports 3.2-inch touchscreen with a 320×480 resolution and measures in at 103.8 x 57.7 x 11.7 mm and weighs 115 grams.

On the inside will be optical trackpad,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM, microSD card slot and a 600 MHz processor. The 5 Megapixel camera with LED Flash should keep those looking for a decent camera phone happy as well. While set to be available in November, we still do not know the carriers or the price of HTC Gratia. But expect those details to be out very soon as well.

In case you are looking for something different from HTC and on Android platform, HTC Gratia might serve you very well. Just hold on till the final details trickle out before you make a choice.
