Adobe Acrobat X Pro launched; Coming in 30 Days

Adobe has brought out its latest PDF creation and editing tool, the Adobe Acrobat X Pro, and it comes with a set of exciting features.

Acrobat X Pro comes with a series of new features including exportability between Microsoft office documents. It enables users to save PDF files as Microsoft Word or Excel files with improved preservation of formats.

It helps in combining multiple file types including audio, video and rich media content. This feature will be much helpful for creating impressive portfolios. By enabling insertion of Flash player compatible video into PDF files, Adobe Acrobat X Pro adds interactivity to PDF documents.

The new Action Wizard helps automating routine, multi-step tasks to improve workflow. The Quick Tools area allows grouping frequently used tools for convenient use. The new version allows filtering or sorting comments by keywords, page, author and dates

It also comes with a range of security measures for PDF documents such as digital signatures, password restricted access and permanent information removal. Acrobat X Pro offers a new reading mode unlike its earlier versions, and supports sharing large documents through

Adobe Acrobat X Pro offers both Windows and Mac versions. An Intel Mac running Mac OS X v10.5.8 or v10.6.4 can handle this new adobe product. Acrobat X Pro extends support to systems with Microsoft Windows XP Home, Professional, Windows Vista Home Basic or Premium, Business, Ultimate, Windows 7 starter, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate. Moreover, it recommends a 1.3 GHz or faster processor, at least 512 MB RAM, 1.9 GB of available Hard Disk space for optimum performance in Windows systems.

The Acrobat X Pro is priced at $450, while cost for upgrading to X Pro varies based on the version in use. Acrobat X Pro and other products in the Acrobat X range are expected to ship within 30 days.
