GreenPois0n iOS 4.1 Jailbreak for Linux Now Released and available; Mac Next in Line (Free Download Link inside)

October 14, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

Are you using an iPhone or iPod touch running on iOS 4.1 or an iPad running on iOS 3.2.2 and waiting for the Greenpois0n iOS 4.1 jailbreak? We did wait long and hard for October 10, but since Geohot’s Limera1n just had to be released to satisfy some personal egos, the wait has gone on a bit longer. But with the Greenpois0n iOS 4.1 jailbreak for Linux users now available for download, the Mac version might be just days away and that is real sweet news.

The Chronic DevTeam took plenty of slack for frankly no fault of their own and thanks largely to Geohot’s rash action, but the good news has been that the SHAtter exploit has been saved despite these unnecessary jailbreak wars. Linux users can immediately download GreenPois0n tool version of iOS 4.1 and use to jailbreak the iPhone 4, the iPhone 3GS, the iPod touch 4G, the iPod touch 3G and the iPad.

You can use the Linux jailbreak just as you did with windows and there have been no major hassles reported yet. While Limera1n is still available only for Windows, the chronic Dev Team will be working hard to give out the ultimate jailbreak- the Mac version very soon.

Here is the Download Link to GreenPois0n iOS 4.1 Jailbreak Download

So did you use any of the jailbreaks so far for Windows? Or maybe you tried Greenpois0n’s jailbreak for Linux? How did they work for you? Still waiting for Mac?
