Sony Google TV HDTVs and Blu-ray player: Release, spec and price details inside!

Sony’s Google TV is finally here and yes, this time the news is official from its unveiling in New York. He Big Apple has become ‘the’ place to be this week with first the launch of Windows Phone 7 and now Google TV. So what sizes does Google TV come in and how much cash you need to part with to bring one home. Well, dig in to find out…

The line-up of Google TVs includes 4 HDTVs that come in 24-inch, 32-inch, 40-inch and 46-inch sizes and their prices will vary from $599 to $1,399. So basically to just to bring the Google TV home one will have to part with $599 at the very least. Of course you will have to buy that very cool looking and all-white set top box with built-in Blu-ray player as well. And that will set you back by another $399!

The 24-inch Google TV is a CCFL backlit LCD, while the larger models all feature edge LED lighting making your viewing a real pleasure. They all come with built-in Wi-fi support, so you need not wrestle around with cables and connection at all. Coming with the TV will be also Netflix, CNBC, Napster, Pandora and Sony Qriocity VOD player, all of which should keep you pretty happy.

Sony’ Google TV will be available in Sony Style Outlets by this weekend and in Best Buy stores by October 24. So, are you bringing one home?
