LG has unveiled the world’s largest commercial 3D LCD TV, the LG 72LEX9. The LEX9, which boasts 72 inches of viewing goodness, is expected to be released next year.

The display of the LG LEX9 is LED backlit. The LEX9 features Spot Control Technology for uniform picture quality, while the TruMotion 400Hz eliminates screen blur.

Framed within INFINIA Design’s minimal structure, the LEX9 is designed to deliver immersive images as realistic and engrossing as those in the cinema.

The 72LEX9 also packs all of the usual high end LG features such as NetCast for easy access to an array of online services such as web albums and video streaming. It also supports a Wireless AV link and DLNA for access to files stored on networked digital device.

There is no word on the pricing of the LG 72LEX9, but you can expect that it will be released in Q2 2011. If you have already started planning for buying the TV, you better also start thinking about making your living room a lot bigger.
