Windows Phone 7 promises the much sought-after ‘Copy & Paste’ Feature by Early 2011

October 12, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

It is Windows Phone 7 news everywhere around and there is absolutely no doubt that we are interested in seeing exactly where all this big hype leads us to. One of the ‘not so huge’ but practically speaking very, very useful little nugget that came out of the Launch even in NYC was the news that Microsoft will give its WP7 based Smartphone users the much-awaited ‘copy and paste’ feature. Now that would really make life easy!

Microsoft promises this in the form of a software update that will come out early next year and if you are wondering why it is not there already and if Microsoft is pulling one over us, then there is no need to worry at all. The only reason the feature is not there yet is the simple ‘lack of time’.

The shopping season is around the corner and Microsoft and its associated partners wanted the Smartphones out in stores by the time the holiday frenzy begins. The feature apparently works well and you just have to start by clicking a single word and after just drag the finger across the rest of the page.

Sounds easy. Should be easy. We would love to see it out soon, but what do you think? Let us know and maybe in the process you will not only be heard but also could end up winning a Free iPhone 4
