Verizon iPhone 4 might not allow data access and browsing while on a voice call despite 4G LTE

There is no doubt huge amount of interest surrounding Verizon iPhone 4 and when it might actually hit the market. The latest reports almost certainly point towards CES 2011 and if that is indeed any indication to go by then the phone might be out a lot sooner than the 4G LTE network promised by Verizon. But latest reports also go on to suggest that Verizon iPhone 4 users might not be able to access data like email or web browsers while speaking on the phone!

Now that is a major drawback not just for those who need to browse for essential data while they are on a voice call, but also for the more casual iPhone user who has got pretty much used to the facility thanks to AT&T. So will this further set the date back for the Verizon iPhone 4 further?

Unlikely as early next year is pretty much shoed-in as the release date according to the sources from inside. But Verizon have claimed that they are working on the multi-tasking facility and hopefully it will materialize soon enough. The iPhone on Verizon Wireless is also supposedly less compatible for use overseas and will drain the battery a lot more than AT&T model.

Of course we will have to wait till one actually comes out to validate that claim. So still waiting for iPhone 4 on Verizon?
