Verizon Galaxy Tab Release Date is November 1st

You must already know that the UK version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be released on November 1st. Now, a new rumor is suggesting that the Verizon version of the tablet is also set to be launched on November 1st.

Earlier, we had seen the rumor that Sprint was planning a November 16th launch date for the device and a T-Mobile leak confirmed that the carrier will be selling the tablet for $399 on a carrier contract.

There is a possibility that the new information on the Verizon release date is correct since an early November release seems spot on if the carrier wants the device to be out in time to be a holiday hit.

A November 1st release will also put the Verizon version of the tablet decisively ahead of the Sprint variant. You might know that Sprint and Verizon view each other as rivals in the Android device arms race. Earlier we saw Sprint rushing the EVO 4G’s Android 2.2 update through carrier approval in order to get the update released before Verizon’s Droid X.

But there is still no word on the pricing of the device. It might have a price closer to that rumored for the other carriers. We may have to wait for an official confirmation which might be coming sometime soon.
