Palm Pre 2 spotted in the wild in photos

HP’s upcoming Palm handset, the Palm Pre 2 has just received further confirmation today from a set of five photos that were leaked today. The images were spotted by the guys over at MobiFrance and it appears superficially similar to its predecessor but includes a larger screen and many improvements to design and build quality. Its front is now flat and ridged, and shouldn’t crack as easily; a charger door has also been pulled, and it may have a matte front.

The Palm Pre 2 still packs the trademark portrait slider design with a full QWERTY keyboard. The device is running webOS 2.0 and the display looks like it has a resolution of 320×480. PreCentral has confirmed that the device will be powered by a 1GHz processor and will have 512 MB of RAM. Thought the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, the guys at MobiFrance believe the refresh can happen as early as November.
