The Huawei Ideos S7 3G Android tablet has made its way through the FCC. The device, which had appeared last month at the IFA 2010, might actually be coming sometime in the near future.

The Huawei Ideos will be coming equipped with a 7-inch display which will be providing a resolution of 800×480. The device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (most probably the device runs on 1GHz at the very least) and has 256 MB of RAM.

The device is easy to carry about since it is ultra slim measuring 15mm and weighs only 500g. The device will also feature a 2 megapixel camera along with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. You can expect a battery life of around 3 hours with HD 720p playback, or around 4+ hours with regular video playback.

At the IFA 2010, it was revealed that the device runs Android 2.1. But it is expected that it will be featuring Android 2.2 “Froyo” when it hits the market.

There is no word on the pricing and the availability of the device. But since it has been spotted at the FCC, there is a possibility that the company might be preparing for a launch which might happen sometime soon.
