Dell and T-Mobile has officially unveiled the Dell Venue Pro smartphone. The Windows Phone 7 handset, which will be available from T-Mobile this holiday season, is described by the company as a smartphone for everyday people with a diverse range of full and busy lives.

The Dell Venue Pro is the only Windows Phone 7 device currently built with a portrait QWERTY slider (which is narrow compared to landscape designs like that seen on the LG Quantum). The device also comes equipped with a 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive multi-touch display and the display offers Gorilla Glass for durability and scratch resistance.

The device will be having a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. It will also have a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor and it is expected that it will be offering Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi as well. The Dell Venue Pro measures 121.6 by 64.4 by 14.9 mm.

T-Mobile has not announced the price of the device, but it is expected that the device will cost as much as the other high-end WP7 offerings.

Check out the hands-on video which lets you take a peek at some of its features.
