The Nokia C7, the second Nokia smartphone which is based on the new Symbian platform, has now begun shipping. The smartphone, which was announced back at Nokia World 2010, has an estimated retail price of EUR 335 before applicable taxes or subsidies, with pricing and availability varying from region to region and operator to operator.

The Nokia C7 Symbian^3 smartphone will be coming equipped with a 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and an 8 megapixel camera. The device, which is designed specifically with the style-conscious consumer in mind, features a stainless steel and glass chassis that is 10.5mm thick.

The phone comes with WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0, along with GPS and both an FM radio and FM transmitter. Similar to the Nokia N8, there is also five-band UMTS/HSPA for global 3G access, along with quadband GSM/EDGE.

The display of the device is ideal for networking, with updates from Facebook and Twitter fed directly to the home screen, as well as one touch access to many popular email accounts including Ovi Mail, Yahoo Mail and Windows Live Hotmail.

The phone also opens up a world of apps, games, videos, and web and location-based services through the Ovi Store.
