iPhone 4 Glass Back is a Problem for the Officially Endorsed Apple Cases

October 9, 2010, By Atul Roach

The Apple iPhone 4 is already a matter of botheration for Cupertino for one many problems be it the proximity sensor issues (now sorted though) or the antenna and it now seems that the dual glass body is also causing concerns. Conventionally the iPhones come with a front body glass, but Apple experimented a bit more with the iPhone 4 and decided to make the backside of the phone out of the same glass used on the front.

The result, an even more chic and stunning looking iPhone 4 which easily betters the Apple smartphones from the previous generations. But, the problem is that these glass backs have started to crack and the culprit(s) is the officially endorsed bunch of Apple iPhone cases.

The official iPhone cases as you know come with ‘Made for iPhone’ logos and these cases are causing scratches on the glass back, and in some cases, the backs are getting cracked. Since it has happened in ‘some’ cases only, we will presume it a small niggling problem and there is absolutely no need to take Apple by the neck in this regard.
